Talk given by
Father Nicholas Gruner

Introduction by Tom Massett

Welcome to the Fatima Rosary Crusade. My name is Tom Massett. I’m a volunteer at work for the Fatima Center and Father Gruner. I’m a snowbird. I just happ22en to come down to Florida for a few months in the winter, but normally, we live near Syracuse, NewYork. A thought came to my mind today, as Father said his Mass earlier, some of you were here for it. First of all, I’d like to ask, how many people have seen the movie "The Passion of The Christ"? Most everybody here.

You know, Father said the Tridentine Mass in Latin. There’s a reason — he may get into that a little more in his talk. You see, Latin is a dead language. A dead language means that the words don’t change, the meaning is the same. Whereas, with the vernacular, words change and meanings change over a period of time. I’ll give you one example: In 1950, if you called me gay, I would say "well, that’s a happy, joyful, lively person." But today, when you call somebody gay, it has a different meaning entirely. So, we see that with modern languages, words and meanings change, whereas with Latin, it does not change.

We know that the Mass is the renewal of the one self-same Sacrifice that Jesus offered for us on Calvary. When you see parts of the Mass unfold, you see the Passion of Our Lord. For example, when the priest’s hands are washed, that symbolizes Pilate washing his hands at the judgement of Christ. Then again, when a priest consecrates and holds up the Body of Christ, at that moment Our Lord is raised on the Cross for our sins. A miracle took place here today. We don’t often think of it as that, but it’s a miracle nevertheless.

Then when Father raises the Chalice, the Blood, the Precious Blood of Our Lord — can’t you almost see that Roman soldier Longinus piercing the Heart of Jesus, the Blood running down to the chalice? The Precious Blood of Jesus, a miracle on our Altars! Do we thank God enough? Could we thank God enough for such a great grace? I don’t think so.

As I look out here at this audience, I can’t help but wonder: where is our Catholic Faith today? It’s good that you’ve come. But there should be more. This statue here of Our Lady of Fatima, blessed by Pope Paul VI, is one of the pilgrim statues given throughout various countries of the world. The United States has one, this one happens to be the Pilgrim Virgin of Canada, for which Father is sole custodian.

When Father took this statue to India, hundreds of thousands of people turned out to show their love for Our Lady of Fatima. At one point, Father was afraid he was going to be crushed to death, there was such a mass of people trying to get to see and honor the statue that represents Our Lady of Fatima. What’s happened to our people? Have we gotten too fat and sassy? Have we forgotten what God has given us? Our freedom, our wealth, our very lives, the promise for salvation? It makes you wonder — a country as poor as India can have hundreds of thousands of people come out, and yet, we can’t even fill a small room today.

When "The Passion of The Christ" came out, my youngest daughter went with a Protestant friend to see the "Passion". The portrayal of the Blessed Mother in that movie showed the tenderness and love that She had for Her Son. After the movie, the Protestant friend said to my daughter, "Now I understand why Catholics have such devotion to the Blessed Virgin." It certainly was a good portrayal; it gives us food for thought.

Our Lord said, "By their fruits, you will know them." Sad to say, today the Church is going through a passion. Many of the things that were formerly held and believed are now in question. I’m sure Father will speak about this in his talk in a few moments. St. Louis de Montfort, the author of such books as The Secret of the Rosary, a very powerful book, and True Devotion to Mary, taught that it’s a sure sign of the predestinate to have devotion to the Blessed Virgin. On the contrary, it’s a sure sign of the reprobate to have aversion to the Blessed Virgin. And the reprobate, unfortunately, are those who will be lost.

We know that the Blessed Virgin also appeared in La Salette in France. The Church approved this apparition. But it carried a very, very strong warning: "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist." Can you imagine such a statement? Church-approved. "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist." We’re approaching those days, and certainly, there are signs that would indicate it can’t be too far off.

This month, we celebrated a very important feast on March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel appeared unto Mary, "Hail Mary, full of grace …" What does that mean, "full of grace"? Well, we can pick up a glass of water and I could fill it to the top, it’s full. I can take a reservoir and fill it to the top, and it’s full. Or an ocean, and it’s full, it overruns its boundaries. But what are the boundaries of the Holy Ghost? Who can measure the depth of the Holy Ghost? No one is full of the Holy Ghost like Our Lady. All the Saints since the beginning of time until the end of time, all the angels that God created, all together do not equal the grace that this Lady has. Amazing.

Shortly after the Annunciation and the Incarnation, when Christ was present in the Womb of the Blessed Virgin, She visited Her cousin Elizabeth, who was the mother of St. John the Baptist. The Fathers of the Church tell us that St. John was then sanctified in the womb of his mother because of the presence of Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary. When Elizabeth reentered the house, Our Lady said Her Magnificat, some of the very few words said by Our Lady that were recorded in the Bible. She said, "My soul doth magnify the Lord."

So I brought my little dictionary, an Oxford dictionary, which says, "Magnify. (meaning) Augment. Enlarge. Expand. Amplify. Intensify. Heighten. Deepen. Draw. Widen. Dilate. Boost. and Enhance." All those things Our Lady does. Not that God needed Her, but He chose Her. This is the way He chose to come into the world. And St. Louis de Montfort says that "As She had everything to do with His First Coming, so She will have everything to do with His Second Coming." That’s why we’re living in what’s called "The Marian Age". The more She is known, the more Christ is known. St. Bonaventure said, "If you wish to contemplate the Son, contemplate the Mother, because She is the worthy Mother of the Son."

And so, my friends, it is my great honor today to introduce a man who has carried the Message of Our Lady in these times when it is derided, lied about, and demoted — when the truth is subordinate to following the Party Line. Some would have you believe that Fatima is an event of the past; it has no meaning today. Well, that’s simply not so. It has meaning for every one of us. True, some of the events of the Fatima Message have taken place, but not all. Some still remain. Look around you and see what’s happening. Society has gone to hell in a bushel basket, if you’ll pardon the expression.

I remember reading in the early 1950’s, General Dean was the highest-ranking American serviceman captured by the North Koreans in the Korean War. Finally, when the war ended, General Dean was released. On the way to the checkpoints where they were going to exchange prisoners, he was riding with a North Korean colonel. Naturally, General Dean was happy that he was going to be released.

So the colonel says to General Dean, and this appears in Reader’s Digest, "I suppose you think you’ve won a victory." So General Dean says, "Well, in a certain sense, we have. We stopped a communist advance." The colonel says, "Well, let me tell you something. You haven’t won. You think you have won. We’re going to corrupt your country. We’re going to fill it full of drugs. We’re going to ruin your youth with images of illicit sex. Then we’ll see whether you’ve really won."

After those few years that General Dean was in prison in Korea, he came back then and looked around the United States and he thought, "My goodness, perhaps that colonel was right." That was in the early 1950’s. Could you imagine what he would say if he were alive today and seen our society?

Our Lady has the answer. God has chosen Her to give us the answer. You have problems in your personal lives. You may have children that have strayed from the Faith, you may have problems between husband and wife, you may have problems with your job. Whatever your problems are, this is the Lady we should go to, our Mother. Pray for Her intercession. She will guide us, She will help us through difficulties. She will provide the answer.

You know at the time of the Protestant Reformation in England, there were only two men, really, who stood up against Henry VIII when he declared himself head of the Church and broke away from Rome. Those two men were St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More, who was the chancellor of England. Bishop Fisher said, "The fort has been betrayed by those who should have defended it," meaning his fellow clergy who sided with the king and gave up the true Faith. Oftentimes you see that when you’re standing for the truth, you’re persecuted, like St. John Fisher, who lost his head, as did St. Thomas More.

What’s equally sad is when this happens within your own house, and when fellow clergy attack someone who’s trying to teach what the Church has always taught. The city that I’m from, back in 1973, had the Pilgrim Virgin of the U.S. throughout the diocese. There were approximately 70,000 people that turned out to see the statue of the Blessed Virgin of Our Lady of Fatima. Today, I doubt there would be 7,000. Why? Because the Vatican has said this is an event that has passed and has no meaning today. We know otherwise. God has raised up a person who, I believe, certainly in the English-speaking world, is one of the most articulate, one of the best informed, one of the greatest defenders of Our Lady of Fatima. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Father Nicholas Gruner.

Father Gruner’s Talk

I’d like to have a few cards passed out. It’s the Passion of Christ. The picture on it is of the sufferings of Christ. It has some passages both from Scripture as well as from the Message of Fatima. I’d like to explain that.

You can examine your conscience with that card. The picture is of Christ suffering the Scourging. On the card, you’ll see the words of the prophet Isaiah, who lived more than 700 years before Christ: "Surely He hath borne our infirmities and carried our sorrows … He was wounded for our iniquities, He was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His bruises we are healed. All we, like sheep, have gone astray, every one hath turned aside into his own way: and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was offered because it was His own will, and He opened not His mouth." You find that in Isaiah 53:4-7. The whole Chapter 53 of Isaiah is a prophecy of the sufferings of Our Lord.

So, if we look at that picture or if we saw the movie or if we take the book The Passion and Death of Our Lord, by St. Alphonsus, each of us can say to ourselves, "If I sinned one sin less, then Jesus would have less to suffer in the Scourging and on the Cross." "He was bruised for our sins. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him. And the Lord hath laid upon Him the iniquity of us all." It’s well for us to reflect upon the Passion of Our Lord, especially since we’re in Passion season now, the last two weeks of Lent. I believe the movie was a great grace given to us this year, and hopefully we will be able to extend that grace by thinking about the suffering of Our Lord more often, more completely.

As St. Paul says in the back of that card, from Galatians 2:20, "The Son of God loved me and delivered Himself up for me." You can see then what it cost Him to deliver Himself up for you — not for the person beside you, not for someone else, but for you! That is, He offered Himself for all of us, but He offers Himself completely for each one of us in particular. It’s well for us to think about these things. If Our Lord did not offer Himself for our salvation, we would not be able to be free from our sins. It is by His wounds that we are healed (Is. 53:5), so the Lord God has appointed Our Lord Jesus Christ to be the unique Mediator between God and man (1Tim. 2:5).

Scripture says that there’s no salvation, except for those who believe in God (Ps. 77:22; Job 20:5,7; Heb 11:6). But God the Father Himself will not allow you to be saved except through the merits and the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He wants that recognition for His Son. So, these people are deluding themselves, who think that they can have salvation without the merits of Jesus Christ. Those who mislead them do so not only to their peril but also their own peril of salvation.

Now, why should we mention these things at this time? Our Lady said that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world and these errors — even religious errors — are being spread also within the Church, as surprising as that may seem. Mr. Gorbachev started the Gorbachev Foundation. One of the initiatives for this Gorbachev Foundation is the United Religions Initiative, which wants to create a New Religion that does not recognize Christ as the sole Mediator between God and man. But Gorbachev is not the only one that wants to do that, there are people in the Catholic Church, even Cardinals, who want to do that. When Cardinal Ciappi tells us that the Third Secret says that the apostasy in the Church will begin at the top, he’s talking about our time. He’s talking about your salvation.

If we wish to be saved from the fires of hell, if we wish to go to Heaven, then we have to be aware of how salvation comes to us. It comes to us through the merits, the Passion and Death, and the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It cannot come to us through any other means but that; it cannot come to us through any other means than applying the Blood of Christ to our souls. And how do we do that? We do that, first of all, by being baptized. "He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. He who does not believe shall be condemned." (Mk. 16:16) After that, if we commit a mortal sin, we can have it taken away from our souls by applying the Blood of Christ through the sacrament of Confession. The sacrament of Confession is given validly only through the Catholic Church.

So when the Blessed Virgin came on the day of the great Miracle of the Sun, She said, "I’ve come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins. They must not continue to offend Our Lord anymore, as He is already too much offended."

Our Lady speaks in the present tense: "He is already too much offended." The sins of today offend Him and add to His Passion. She’s come to warn the faithful — that means us — to amend our lives and ask pardon for our sins. She knows that we cannot avoid sin without the help of God. And that’s why She insisted every time She came to Fatima that we pray the Rosary.

All of us need redemption. All of us need the help of God, and we won’t get that help unless we pray for it. We won’t get some helps, some necessary helps, unless we ask the Blessed Virgin Herself for it. That’s why devotion to the Blessed Virgin is so necessary. St. Alphonsus in his book The Glories of Mary proves that devotion to Mary is necessary for your salvation. Many priests, even theologians, don’t seem to know that. St. Alphonsus, a Doctor of the Church, proves it in his book.

That brings us to the Vision of Hell that the Blessed Virgin showed the children on July 13, 1917. On that day, She opened Her hands, light came from Her hands and fell to the ground between the children and Herself. Lucy describes this vision as follows, "We saw, as it were, a vast ocean of fire, in which the devils and the souls of the damned were plunged, all blackened and burnt. They were cast about in the flames amid loud cries and shrieks of pain and despair, without weight or equilibrium. The devils could be distinguished from the damned human souls by the forms of weird and unknown animals which they were cast."

The children trembled with fear and Lucy tells us had she not been promised to be taken to Heaven by Our Lady, she would have died of fright. The children looked up to the Blessed Virgin and She said to them, "You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. It is to save sinners that God wills to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart." In that statement, you have the key to understanding the whole Fatima Message.

Pope John Paul said, when he went to Fatima in 1982, "To understand the Fatima Message, you need to look at it in light of the Blessed Virgin as your Mother." And She comes because She sees you in danger. She comes to offer Her help and Her counsel. When the Blessed Virgin said at Fatima, "Only Our Lady of the Rosary can help you," She was emphasizing that we must pray the Rosary. She emphasized that by ourselves, even with all our efforts, we cannot succeed. Some cultures are more known for their work ethic. Certainly, the United States is one of them. But all our own efforts, without Hers, are useless. Only She can help you. Some people think I exaggerate, so we need to explain.

On the banks of the Red Sea, Moses led the People of God (in the Old Testament). Before them was a sea, behind them was the Egyptian army. The army had their swords drawn, and they were bearing down on them in their chariots, ready to slaughter the Israelites. They had nowhere to go. It looked like their going out into the desert was to end in slaughter.

God gave the order to Moses to take his staff and extend it over the Red Sea. The salvation of the people on that day was ultimately in the hands of one man: Moses. So Moses extended his arm as he was told, and the Red Sea opened. And then the virgin Miriam (which means Mary), Moses’ sister, led the people through the Red Sea. When they got to the other side, Moses stood on the bank and put his arm down. The sea closed on the pursuing army and they all drowned. Now that really happened, but it’s also a symbol of the People of God in the New Testament: the Catholic Church.

Most of us don’t recognize even to this day that we are surrounded, and that swords are drawn and ready to slaughter us. To many, that sounds like an exaggeration. I may not be able to explain that today with the limited time I have, but when you see it, you might at least remember I told you. There’s only one way to be delivered physically from that, and that is for the Pope to consecrate specifically Russia, and to use the authority that God has given him to command the bishops to consecrate Russia. Maybe many of us won’t survive what’s around the corner, but maybe one of you will remember, and you may be able to pass it on to somebody else who can do something about it. Just as Moses had the physical well-being of the People of God of the Old Testament in his hands by obedience or disobedience, so does the Pope, in our time, today.

In 1946, Sister Lucy gave her last interview to Professor William Thomas Walsh. Professor Walsh was a professor of History at Manhattanville College in New York, and he was finishing his book called Our Lady of Fatima. The book is perhaps the most popular book on Fatima in any language. It’s gone to over a million copies in over twenty editions. It was published for the first time in 1947. I mention this because I want you to realize I don’t make this stuff up. It’s all there. All I’m doing is repeating what Sister Lucy has said for over 50 years. (There are people who contend that I make this stuff up, because I have nothing better to do with my time. I’d love to retire and take a rest.)

However, in 1946 on July 15, Sister Lucy said very plainly, as he reports it at the end of the book, "The Blessed Virgin Mary did not ask for the consecration of the world. What She asked for was the Consecration of Russia. If the Pope and the bishops do this, then Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If they do not do this, then Russia will spread her errors throughout the world." Professor Walsh then asked her, "At what stage of the prophecies are we in today?" "We’re in the stage of Russia spreading her errors throughout the world." "Does that mean," he asked her, "that communism will overcome the whole world?" She said, "Yes." He thought that she did not understand the question, so he asked her again and said, "Does that include the United States of America?" She again said, "Yes."

Now in 1946, the United States was considered the most powerful nation in the world, having the atom bomb. The Cold War became more exactly known later on, in September of 1946, when a Russian cipher clerk unloaded documents proving that Russia had aims against the West. Up to that time, the terrible Stalin had been considered our ally. Even President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who died shortly before World War II ended, called Stalin "Uncle Joe".

Most of us seem to think that the Cold War is over. Most of us in this country are not aware that Russia just held its biggest military exercises a month ago in mid-February. It was quite plain from the exercises that the object of their attacks in this exercise was the United States of America. They tried to tell us it was about counter-terrorism, but, of course, terrorism depends on what the person defining it means by it.

Sister Lucy has told us in her last published interview, in 1957 to Father Fuentes, before she was silenced (she has been under a gag order more than 40 years now), "Many times the Blessed Virgin Mary has told me and my cousins Jacinta and Francisco that Russia is the instrument of chastisement chosen by Heaven to punish the whole world unless we obtain the conversion of that poor nation beforehand."

The concept of God using one nation to punish another is not new. Jeremiah tried to warn the people of Jerusalem about 600 years before the birth of Christ. He said, "Jerusalem must repent, must change, must obey God. Otherwise, Jerusalem will be punished and it will be overrun by Babylon." Now the priests, like the priests today, said, "Well, you don’t need to worry about that prophecy. After all, you might say it’s only a private revelation. Don’t listen to Jeremiah. Jeremiah causes disunity. Jeremiah is an enemy of the people of Israel. Don’t listen to him. And besides, Jerusalem is a holy city. Jerusalem is protected by God. It can’t happen."

There are Catholics today who think that the Catholic Church cannot be punished, because Our Lord said He would be with it for all days. Yes, He did say that, and yes, He meant it. What people forget is that, although He will be with His Church for all time, there’s no guarantee for us to remain in His Church. People forget that in North Africa, once the Catholic Church flourished there, but it died out after the invasion of the Vandals. To this day, the Catholic Church has not really been rebuilt to the position it was 1,600 years ago. The Catholic Church has survived, but not in North Africa. Can we always assume that since "God will be with His Church always", therefore "God will be with us always"? People forget that if we lose the Faith, we’re no longer part of the Church. That’s what the attack has been on: your Faith.

As for God using a country to punish another country, Babylon did attack, as Jeremiah said. They did overcome Jerusalem and carried off their people for forty years in slavery — from 587 to 547 BC. Why was that? Because Jerusalem did not recognize the hour of their visitation. They did not listen to the prophet, who was sent by God to warn them. Some of you might say, "It’s not fair, because they just listened to their priests." All of us have the capacity to know the truth. All of us have the obligation to seek the truth. It doesn’t matter if your priest tells you that you can ignore Fatima. He’s lying to you. He may be doing that in good faith, but it’s still a lie.

I believe that the people are not going to listen to Our Lady of Fatima, and, therefore, I think that the prophecies of being overcome by Russia are going to take place, if we’re not annihilated first. There’s only one way to avoid this, and that is for the Pope and bishops to consecrate Russia. Now there are some people who are so concerned about the feelings of the Russians, that they would rather put themselves in danger of annihilation or enslavement than propose that the Pope should do the Consecration. There are others who tell us that the Pope doesn’t like being importuned, doesn’t like being petitioned, so for the sake of his personal feelings or to save the embarrassment, don’t bother him. There’s also people like Cardinal Ratzinger who tell us that we don’t have to believe in Fatima if we don’t want to.

Whatever the excuse is, there are still two choices. We can either listen and obey Our Lady of Fatima and have the blessings of world peace, freedom, and the salvation of many souls, or we can ignore Her under whatever excuse, and we pay the price for it. There isn’t a third alternative; I wish there was. All I can tell you is that the excuses they offer you are not valid.

The first excuse offered is that the Consecration is done. Now I’m sure you heard various people say that and claim to say that in the name of the Pope or Sister Lucy. If anyone has a problem with any one of those particular ones, I think I can answer them. But let’s take one of the big guns who say that: Cardinal Bertone. Cardinal Bertone offers this reason for not even speaking about it. You could speak about a lot of things, you could even speak heresy, but you’re not allowed to speak about the need for the Consecration of Russia. The problem with that is that if we don’t speak about it, it won’t get done. If we do speak about it, it might get done, but if we don’t speak about it, it certainly won’t get done. If it doesn’t get done, then we’ll be taken over by Russia.

Now to some, that seems impossible. It’s not impossible at all. Very simply, Russia has more men and material and, for that matter, strategy than anything the United States has. If that sounds unlikely to you, it’s pretty hard for people in this country to have any strategy spanning 70 years. But the Russians have that. For example, in the 1960's, the United States made a deal with Russia to not defend the civilian populations of each country. As far as I know, the civilian population of this country has zero civil defense. At least that’s what’s put out by the government. There are individuals who have taken proper precautions. In Russia, seventy percent of their population is protected by civilian defense. If you believe the communists, that’s your first mistake. It’s too bad you don’t read Lenin, who says, "The lie is sacred." The principle of his negotiations is to lie to you. "Treaties are made to be broken," he says.

Anatoliy Golitsyn was a KGB officer. In 1958, he was on the Thirty-Year Planning Board. In his first book published in 1984, New Lies For Old, he made 148 predictions about Russia. In 1993, less than ten years later, 139, or 94% of his 148 predictions had come true. Those predictions included, among other things, the fall of the Berlin Wall. There’s nobody who has his track record. There’s no intelligence service — not the NSA, not the CIA, not M-5, not M-6 — there’s no intelligence service in the world that has Mr. Golitsyn’s track record for predicting what the Russians are going to do next.

In his second book, Perestroika Deception, he tells us how to make the same predictions: how to anticipate what Russia’s going to do next, and the thinking behind it. It’s all based on one principle, written by a man who was a military strategist 2,500 years ago, Sun-Tsu. He said that all warfare is based on deception. The first premise is, "When you are weak, pretend you are strong; and when you are strong, pretend you are weak. But if you pretend you are weak, you must be very strong to do it." Russia’s been pretending to be weak ever since 1989, to deceive the West, especially the United States, as to their real intentions. That’s because they’re very strong and can carry it out.

Can we illustrate this point with history? History is a great teacher. As somebody said, "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." Let me tell you some of the errors of history of previous countries and civilizations that didn’t pay attention to this message. The city of Troy was attacked by the cities of Greece for ten years. Although there were more people attacking the city than inside, the people of Troy were very good at defending their own city, and they withstood this attack for ten years. So the armies of Greece said one day to the people of Troy, "We’ve had enough. Ten years is a long time. We don’t want to waste our time anymore."

They got on their ships and sailed off into the distance, leaving behind for the people of Troy a large wooden horse with wheels on it. It was their gift to symbolize their peace with the people of Troy. The people of Troy were overjoyed. The Greeks were gone, so they could finally have peace. They pulled the Trojan Horse, as it’s called, inside the city gates. That night, when the gates were closed and everyone was asleep, the twenty Greek soldiers inside the wooden horse came out, opened the gates and let all the Greek armies in. They had sailed off, but had come back again, and Troy was destroyed. "All warfare is based on deception," says Sun-Tsu.

The Romans did even better than that. There were three wars with Carthage. The second war was when Hannibal crossed the Alps with his elephants and caused chaos for many years in Italy. The third war is much more instructive to us. Some time after Hannibal left, Rome said to Carthage, "You claim that you want peace, but we don’t believe you. After all, you have a standing army. You wouldn’t need a standing army if you want peace." Carthage said, "We want peace." So they got rid of their army.

The Romans then said, "Well, we’re still not convinced, but if you give us tribute, if you give us money and grain, we’ll be more convinced of your sincerity." And so, Carthage, which was a very wealthy city, gave them gold and grain.

Then the Romans said, "You have so much money, it didn’t really cost you anything. We need something more, something dear to you. We want hostages." So the leading families of Carthage had a son or daughter sent to Rome. They said, "We’ll take good care of them, but if you ever attack us, of course we’ll kill them first." So, hostages were sent.

Then, Rome said, "We’re not convinced. You have all this economic power, so you could rearm very quickly. We want another sign of your goodwill. We want you to move the city twenty miles inland off the seacoast." Now, the seacoast was the basis of Carthage’s wealth. The Carthaginians realized that they would have nothing left if they gave in. They said, "No." Rome said, "We don’t trust you anymore." They came and slaughtered the Carthaginians. That’s the third war.

Now if you look at the treaties that the United States has made with Russia the last 15 years, think about it. Over 50 billion dollars has been given in tribute, not counting the grain. I can’t speak for the hostages, but the shipping offshore of the industrial base of the United States is well known. Maybe some of you aren’t aware of it, but a lot of people are out of work. Some of these various free trade treaties — outsourcing it’s called — are responsible, among other things. Why was the United States so powerful in the Second World War? They could turn their industrial power base into a war machine overnight. We can’t do it today.

What about disarmament? Many of the billions of dollars we spend on the military are actually used for disarmament, whereas the Russians continue with the billions of dollars that we give them, to arm. Their technology is good and they steal from us. Some of it, of course, they did steal from us. One example of Russian military prowess is one of those new Russian submarines that are longer than a football field or maybe several football fields. They can each launch twenty missiles. Just one sub could destroy half the country. One of them was able to remain submerged in Puget Sound, on the West Coast of the United States, undetected for thirty days, because of the technology that they took from us.

Do you remember a year or two ago the Kursk? The Kursk was that submarine that sank with 118 men on board. The British and the Norwegians offered to rescue them, but the Russians refused. You might have wondered why they would let 118 men go to their death instead of being rescued by mechanical means that the British and the Norwegians had. They didn’t want you to see what was on board. On board was the Topol torpedo. It’s a torpedo that travels six times faster than any torpedo the United States has, and four times faster than what the British have. It goes faster than the speed of sound underwater. This Russian torpedo is on the ship before the sonar picks up the sound that it has been launched. So there’s no defense against it.

That technology, by the way, they didn’t steal from the United States. It was described on the front cover of Scientific America a few years ago. They didn’t know all the secrets of how it’s done, but people who think that Russia is weak should consider the facts. They’re not exactly what the media has been telling you for the last fifteen years.

When Our Lady of Fatima then says, "Only Our Lady of the Rosary can help you," She means it literally; there isn’t another solution. Of course, we deserve this chastisement. Our Lady said, "I’ve come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins," and the faithful have not listened. The Pope said himself in 1982, "The world has gone in the opposite direction from the one indicated by Our Lady. Sin has institutionalized itself in society."

What do we mean by the institutionalization of sin in society? Well, if I tell you one lie, it would be wrong for me to do that. But, that’s just one lie. If a person tells one lie in his life, we don’t generally call him a liar. But if a person habitually tells you lies, then that person’s called a liar, because he has the habit of lying.

So, how do we judge an individual? We judge him by his habits — his good habits or his bad habits. What I mean by "judge" is how do we assess that person. If you’re hiring somebody for work or if you’re making friends, you want to know what their habits are, not whether they make an occasional mistake once in a while.

Every sin is noted by God, but we judge people generally by their habits. We also judge a society by its habits. A society’s habits are shown by the institutions it has. So, if we have a police force that habitually protects murderers and puts in jail people who try to defend the innocent, then that is an institutionalization of sin in our society. I’m not trying to be funny when I say that. That’s what happens in the United States when we defend the abortionists and their killing mills, and we put in jail people who protest this. We’ve accepted these things little by little, and most of us, or maybe all of us say, "Well, there’s nothing we can do about it." There’s plenty we can do about it. I’m not proposing that we have civil disobedience or marches, but we can do something even more powerful than that about it.

Sister Lucy tells us, "There’s no problem in the world, either national or international, either physical or moral, that cannot be solved with the Rosary." No problem whatsoever. The Blessed Virgin will not be refused anything She asks for from Her Son, because She refused nothing that God asked of Her. The Passion and Crucifixion of Our Lord would not have taken place had the Blessed Virgin not consented to it. She consented to it twice. When the Archangel Gabriel asked Her to become the Mother of God, She knew the prophet Isaiah said that He’d be the Suffering Servant. So by saying, "Yes," She knew that She would become the Mother of Sorrows. She said "Yes" because of Her great love of God and also because of Her great love for you personally. She was asked to ratify Her "Yes" at the Crucifixion.

Pope Pius XII points out in his encyclical Mystici Corporis that the Crucifixion would never have taken place had the Blessed Virgin not given Her consent. You see, if She never said "Yes" at the Incarnation, then Our Lord, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, would not have become Man. If He did not become Man, He could not have Blood to shed for us, and Sacred Scripture says there’s no redemption without the shedding of blood (Lev. 17:11; Heb. 9:22). Her consent was necessary for our salvation and She freely gave it. So God wants Her great merit to be recognized by the whole world. That is why He will not free us from this chastisement hanging over us unless we publicly acknowledge that it’s through Her merits.

Saint Augustine tells us that when God wants to give us great graces, He has a dilemma, so to speak. In His great love for us, He wants to give us these graces, but He realizes that if He gives them to us, we’re going to become proud and say, "We deserve that. God owes it to us." But God doesn’t owe it to us. So God can’t give us these graces without us becoming proud. But He still wants to give them to us, so how does He do it? St. Augustine explains how He does it: "He will give these extraordinary graces only through the merits and intercession of the Saints."

The chastisement gets closer every day. If it’s not obvious to you yet, it will be that way in the very near future. The only way we’re going to be delivered from the chastisement that hangs over us is through the merits and intercession of the Blessed Virgin. But God wants the world — and He wants you — to recognize Her. So He will not give the grace of deliverance from this chastisement, nor the grace of the conversion of Russia, nor the grace of world peace, except and until His request for the Consecration of Russia is done.

I’ve been preaching this for 20 years. I’ve published these findings and sent them to the priests and the bishops and the Cardinals and the Pope. I’ve yet to find one substantial answer to anything I’ve just said. People occasionally just deny it outright without any basis even offered. You can’t reason with a person who says, "No matter what you see, the light here in this room is off." If you want to believe that, you can. I can’t argue with you. I can’t prove anything to you, if you refuse to listen to reason. But anyone who is willing to reason the thing through, I’ve yet to find someone to say, "You made a mistake here, this is wrong, this is misquoted," or anything else. There have been a few typographical mistakes along the way, but nothing of substance.

We could have a campaign for the Rosary. Sister Lucy says, "God, in His mercy for our age, sends His Mother with a certain trepidation." Why did God send His Mother with a certain trepidation? Because the Blessed Virgin is our last chance. If we refuse Her, He doesn’t have another resource to use, so to speak. What’s more, She will have been insulted and He’ll have to punish us more. If we refused the graces that were given us, it makes us more guilty. So it’s with a certain trepidation He sends Her, but He wants us to have this grace.

It’s up to you to pass the Message of Fatima on to others to learn about it, to receive the whole Message of Fatima. Do not be put off by people who say, "It’s only a private revelation. You can ignore it if you want to." Of course, you can ignore it if you want to, but you will pay the cost of ignoring it. You’ll be held responsible for ignoring it. Even if Cardinal Ratzinger tells you that you can ignore it, as he does, listen to him at the cost of your own material chastisement and quite possibly your eternal salvation. I know I’m simply a Catholic priest and he’s a Cardinal, but the truth is not premised on who says it.

Our Lord says in today’s Gospel reading, "He who is of the truth, hears My voice." (Jn. 18:37) Our Lord Himself speaks about people like Cardinal Ratzinger: "Make it known to My ministers, given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, like him, they will follow him into misfortune." The King of France was given the message from a "private revelation" given by the Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary, on the 17th of June 1689, to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. (St. Margaret Mary was canonized in the 1920’s, I believe, but she was considered a saint even during her lifetime.)

Now, the King of France heard his Jesuit advisor and disregarded what the Sacred Heart said. By 1760 or thereabouts, the Jesuits were suppressed. And on June 17, 1789 — 100 years later to the day — the King of France was stripped of his authority by the Third Estate. Four years later, history records that the King was executed as a criminal by the army of the Revolution. His ministers, of course, preceded him. "Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, like him, they will follow him to misfortune."

On June 26, 2000 Cardinal Ratzinger and Cardinal Bertone revealed the vision of the execution of the Pope and the bishops by a band of soldiers as part of the Secret of Fatima. That vision is a picture of what’s going to happen to them by the army of the Revolution: their being executed as criminals. In revealing that part of the Message of Fatima, they revealed their own demise without even realizing it. Our Lord says, "Make it known to My ministers ..." He’s talking about His ministers who delay the execution of His command to consecrate Russia. Our Lord says later on in that same message, "They will repent and do it, but it will be late." Obviously, some of them are going to get it literally in the neck before others wake up.

Sister Lucy asked Our Lord on another occasion why He would not convert Russia — why He would not bring about this great miracle — without the Holy Father doing that Consecration. Our Lord answered, "Because I want My whole Church to recognize that Consecration as a Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so that My Church will later on put devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary beside devotion to My Sacred Heart."

So there you have it. He will not budge from the request for the Consecration of Russia and He has a reason for it. Our Lady said, "God wills to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart." And why does God want that? So that many more souls can be saved. I wish there was another way around it, because it would be easier for all of us. However, considering all the sins of mankind, considering all that Our Lord suffered, considering all the consequences, the great things He promises for us, it’s really a pittance that He’s asking for. Very, very little.

The bishops and the Pope on one day at the same hour are to basically dress up in their episcopal robes and go to their Cathedrals and say a prayer that says something like this, "I, Bishop So-and-so, by my apostolic authority consecrate and dedicate the country and the people of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary." It would not cost them ten thousand dollars to do that. It would not cost them any more effort than they put in every Sunday. It costs literally nothing, and we’ll have world peace.

President Bush told us a few years ago that the war on terrorism might last for 20 years. Well, this would put an end to the war of terrorism and an end to terrorism. It would also put an end to the war on the unborn with 40 million American citizens killed since 1973 and some 50 million babies killed worldwide every year.

Mankind has had in its 6,000 years of recorded history 14,000 plus wars, I think it’s 14,417. All wars on the face of the earth will cease with this act of Consecration, or very shortly thereafter. This phenomenal promise was guaranteed by the great Miracle of the Sun, which was witnessed by 70,000 people, which was prophesied to take place three months before it did, a miracle unprecedented in the history of mankind. For all this, we’re told, in effect, by Cardinal Ratzinger and Cardinal Bertone, "Just ignore it, it doesn’t matter."

You might say, " I’m not a Cardinal, I’m not even a priest. What can I do?" You can do a lot. First of all, pray the Rosary and pray it again. "Pray a great deal for the Holy Father," Our Lord said to Sister Lucy. Prayer is the first line (of defense), I don’t want to de-emphasize that. It’s very important. But you have a lot of influence, you have a lot of power, you have a lot of authority. First of all, I can tell you that it takes less than three hundred people talking to one bishop to make that bishop talk to the Pope. I know that because they told me. You can phone, fax, e-mail the Holy Father and every member of his Curia. If you don’t have their addresses, we could certainly provide them for you.

In 1987, I met the priest who actually counts petitions. Some 200,000 petitions were sent in a very short time. This Vatican-based priest was very impressed and he said the whole Curia was very impressed by these petitions. They did nothing, mind you, but they were impressed. They commissioned him to count the petitions. Whatever he counted he halved them, because some signatures were true duplicates. He told them "400,000 divided by two. 200,000 petitions."

But the fact is, petitions do work. When the Pope defined the dogma of the Assumption — you can see it on the monument in Saint Peter’s — it was also due to the petitions of the faithful that he made this definition. They do listen, although it seems like they don’t. Otherwise, why would they make it a point to single me out with deceiving statements, so people won’t listen to me. It’s only because people are listening, though not enough of them. But the message is getting through.

I mentioned that Cardinal Bertone on June 26, 2000 said we should not talk about the Consecration of Russia because, according to him, "it’s done". He gave us as proof a letter written on November 8, 1989. He doesn’t tell us who this letter is written to, he doesn’t supply a copy of this letter, he just tells us it was sent by Sister Lucy.

Now, just to give you a little bit of history of that time, it was four years ago (on April 27, 2000) that Archbishop Bertone, as he was then called, had visited Sister Lucy. That’s in their documentation; that’s what they said. He never asked Sister Lucy if this letter was authentic. That’s because we had already debunked publicly that same letter of November 8, 1989 ten years before. It’s a forgery and it’s a fake. Anyone who knows anything about Fatima knows the letter in question — which he didn’t publish or even give a reference for — has a lie in it. It says that Paul VI, when he went to Fatima on May 13, 1967, consecrated the world. But I can tell you that Sister Lucy was present for that whole day. Pope Paul VI consecrated nothing on that day, and Sister Lucy knows it. She couldn’t have written the letter in the first place.

Secondly, it’s a typewritten or computer-generated letter. Sister Lucy’s own blood sister, who was still alive at the time, told me, "Don’t believe any of these letters, because Sister Lucy doesn’t type. She only handwrites." We got our hands on one of those letters. Father Paul Kramer wrote a letter to the convent and got an answer back. We sent it out for a forensic examination, and our expert said the signature is a forgery.

There were five of those letters generated at that time and they were debunked immediately. Apparently Cardinal Bertone wasn’t paying attention and everyone sort of forgot about them. But in the year 2000, this is what he offers as proof. So, in July 2000 we attacked his statement openly, in The Fatima Crusader Issue #64. We didn’t hide what we were saying. A year and a half later, on November 17, 2001, Archbishop Bertone went to see Sister Lucy again, and that was publicized in the L’Osservatore Romano.

Now, it takes about two hours to fly from Rome to Lisbon. It takes another hour and a half to drive from there up to Coimbra. Then he had spent a couple of hours with Lucy, and then he had to go back. He took a bit of trouble to get there — he had to get permission from Cardinal Ratzinger to speak to her — but, amazingly, he never asked her to confirm that this letter was authentic, even after we had denounced his so-called proof.

Cardinal Bertone, in that same June 26 statement, says, "The decision of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to make public the third part of the ‘secret’ of Fatima brings to an end a period of history marked by tragic human lust for power and evil …" You could find this in The Chronology of a Cover-up on page 12, and we photographically reproduced Cardinal Bertone’s statement from their English language edition of the booklet that they put out on June 26, 2000.

Now if you believe this statement of Bertone’s, you could perhaps believe anything. If you believe that the period of history marked by tragic lust for power and evil is over, you’re forgetting 9/11 took place a year and two months later (after Bertone’s claim that as of June 26, 2000 this period of history was over), and some 10,000 people dead in Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention the ongoing war on the unborn, 50 million dead a year, and so forth. If you believe Cardinal Bertone, that we can’t speak about the Consecration, we must believe that we have the era of peace Our Lady promised. I think anyone with an ounce of sense knows that’s not true.

Why are they struggling to hide the real Secret from you? Why are they hiding and struggling to pretend the Consecration is done when it’s not done? Well that’s the question people ask me and there’s an answer to that. It’s explained in detail in the book The Devil’s Final Battle. These people have another agenda. They want to change the Catholic Church substantially into something else. They want to make it the religion of the New World Order, the One World Religion. They want to make it into something that Christ did not intend and they’ve been busy doing this for the last 40 years plus. And that’s why Our Lady wanted the Secret released in 1960 at the latest, because of those plans for transforming the Church into the Anti-Church while preserving the appearance of being the Church. That’s what this is all about.

Do we have any evidence of what I say? Well, we could quote Cardinal Ratzinger for you. In this book, The Devil’s Final Battle, read "A Motive Emerges" (Chapter Five) and "The Motive Takes Hold" (Chapter Six). The so-called theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar admitted to wishing to destroy the bastions that defend the Church. He says it in those terms. And Cardinal Ratzinger agrees with him. The footnotes are given there in Chapter Five, Chapter Six, and Chapter Seven ("The Demolition of the Bastions"). And, of course, the greatest bastion for the Church is the dogmatic definitions of the Faith. They want to get rid of those definitions and they want you to have a new set of beliefs — not the real Faith — but believing contrary to what Christ and the Church have taught for 2,000 years.

And so, perhaps some of you read how they want to turn Fatima into a shrine where Buddha and other pagan idols can be worshipped. For them, it’s not just Fatima; they want to do this to — and have the same plan for — North America also. In Michigan, faithful Catholics were able to boot the Buddhists out of the Catholic basilica by praying the Rosary. They went to the bishop, and he said, "I can do nothing about it." (Editor’s note: On May 14, 2004, that bishop died at the age of 59.) The Rector apparently was away. And so the people went there and prayed the Rosary. It has been reported in the March issue of Catholic Family News, on the front page.

Father Dupuis wants to turn the Church into a syncretistic church where all religions are equal to each other, and Christ is reduced to just another "god" equal to pagan and non-Christian gods. You see that typified by turning our Catholic churches into places for Buddhists and others to worship in. Now you see what Our Lady means when She tells us that the Apostasy in the Catholic Church will begin at the top.

That’s what the Secret’s about. It’s obvious that what they released to us is not the whole Secret. If you’re not convinced of that, I’d be happy to give you the book, The Devil’s Final Battle, as long as you read it. See for yourself that it demonstrates their lie. Chapter Eleven is written by a Doctor of Canon Law and Doctor of Theology, Father Gregory Hesse. He called it "Cardinal Ratzinger’s Message of Fatima" because it’s not Our Lady’s Message of Fatima. Rather, it’s Cardinal Ratzinger’s distortion of the Message.

You won’t find a substantial fault with the thesis of the book that these Cardinals in the Vatican are deceiving you, and the cost of this deception will be your freedom, your physical well-being, your families, avoiding jail or torture. The cost of this could well be your soul. We are in, as Sister Lucy tells us, the devil’s final battle. The devil has apparently taken the heights, and most of us are not even aware of it.

These are strange things for a Catholic priest to say, but my obligation to you is for your soul. I’m certainly loyal to the Pope and to all the Catholic bishops and priests and Cardinals, but not at the price of your soul. There’s a priority in charity. The first priority of charity is to love God for Himself. Secondly, you must love your own salvation more than anything else. The third is you must love the eternal salvation of your neighbor, and only after that do we start taking into account other loyalties and friendships. St. Thomas describes charity as being like a fireplace: it warms those who are closest to it. That charity, first of all, is concerned with the eternal salvation of souls. What good does my love for you do, if it drives you to hell? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his eternal salvation?

I say these things so that Cardinal Ratzinger, Cardinal Bertone, as well as the Pope, will save their necks literally. They have been led to believe that they can ignore Fatima at no cost to themselves. Well, they will pay the cost, but that cost is described in the very vision that they showed about the killing of the Pope and bishops and Cardinals and religious, executed by a band of soldiers, just like the King of France. As Our Lord said, "Make it known to My ministers given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, like him, they will follow him into misfortune."

Our Lord loves us, as you saw in the movie "The Passion". He has endured phenomenal sufferings for our salvation, but it does require us to do our part. When He sends His Mother to Fatima with a Message, He doesn’t want Her to be ignored. He doesn’t want Her to be despised. He will not tolerate that. He’d rather be ignored Himself, than to have His Mother be ignored. And so, it’s with a certain trepidation that He sent Her. "Our Lady is very sad" as Sister Lucy says, "because no one has paid attention to Her Message, neither the good nor the bad. The bad go on their way, not seeing the punishment fall upon them. But the good also," she tells us, "have ignored Her Message and She’s very sad about that." Sister Lucy also said, "God is about to punish the world, and that will be in a terrible manner." That was the last thing she said before she was silenced in 1960.

It’s amazing that we have tolerated the silencing of Sister Lucy, the very soul that God has chosen to live among us for her 97 years! (Her birthday is actually today) The very soul that God has chosen to transmit this Message to us! This very one has been silenced for 44 years now.

If you consider the anomaly further, in 1966, just six years after her silencing, Pope Paul VI struck down canon 1399 and 2318 in the Old Code of Canon Law. Those canons required Catholics to get the Imprimatur of a bishop to be able to publish anything on any apparitions, approved or unapproved. On November 15 or 16, 1966, Catholics didn’t have to get permission anymore. Of the one billion Catholics today, there’s only one Catholic in the whole world who’s not allowed to speak about Fatima, and that one person is the one that God chose to give us the Message. Isn’t that a little unusual, to say the least?

We say that there’s a cover-up on Fatima. When people try and tell us there isn’t, well then, produce Sister Lucy so that she can speak freely and answer questions, and not have to go through someone like Cardinal Bertone. In Issue #71 of The Fatima Crusader, Chris Ferrara makes this point: Let’s say you were on trial for your life and the witness who could free you was in the next room over. The judge rules that only the prosecutor could go in and examine the witness, with no one else present. So the prosecutor comes back and says, "The witness agrees with the case of the prosecution". The judge says, "That’s it, guilty."

I think if you were in such a circumstance, you would not accept that you had a fair trial. But it was exactly the counsel for the prosecution, Cardinal Bertone, who was sent there. He comes back and says, "She agrees with what Cardinal Ratzinger and I said a year ago." Well, why can’t we go in and talk to her? Let’s have the witness speak for herself! Let’s have the cross-examination! Let’s do it in front of others, friends of both sides, and do it honestly through the regular means of cross-examination. Not allowed. Now if you accept that as getting at the truth of Fatima, then I don’t know what I can say to convince you otherwise.

So, I urge you to be informed about Fatima. It is the answer to the crisis in the Church in this country and in the world. Our hands are not tied. We can certainly have a Rosary Crusade for the Pope and the Consecration. We can certainly have a Crusade to free Sister Lucy from her silence of 45 years. We can have a Crusade of promoting the Message to our friends and neighbors.

It’s part of the Secret, I believe, when Sister Lucy tells us in that same famous last interview, "Do not wait for the call to penance to come from Rome on the part of the Holy Father. Do not wait for the call to penance to come from your bishop through the chancery office. Do not wait for the call to penance to come from your religious orders. God has used those means in the past and people do not pay attention. That is why now it’s important for each one of us to reform ourselves and to help all those that God puts on our path." That’s what we’re reduced to.

But just because we can’t do all that we’d like to do, just because we’ve been crippled by our enemies, doesn’t mean we should do nothing. We should do what we can and to leave the success to God and the Blessed Virgin. Don’t accept doing nothing by just saying to yourself with words like these, "Well, since the Pope didn’t do anything, since the bishops didn’t do anything, since religious orders don’t do anything, since many priests don’t do anything, what can I do?"

There’s lots you can do. Certainly you can tell your friends and neighbors. You can certainly have a family Rosary in your house; you can pray the Rosary more than once. You can take to heart what Our Lady said to the children, "Many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray for them and make sacrifices for them." You can at least pray and make sacrifices for them.

You can be informed. You should make it your business to know the truth and ask God. He says, "Seek and you shall find. Knock, and it will be opened up to you." Make it your business to know the truth. If I said something that is not true, then I would be appreciative for you pointing it out to me in a civilized way. If I said the truth, then you need to act upon it. If I made a mistake in a detail, it doesn’t substantially change the truth of what I said to you. Be informed: there’s much literature here for you to read. It’s important for you to inform yourself, because if you’re depending on the regular channels of information, this is not getting to you. And yet, no one up to now can point out any error of substance in what we said.

We’ll take a break and answer any questions afterward. Don’t be deceived of what’s on the tables. There’s lots more literature besides what’s on the tables. Take as much literature as you can, as long as you’re not just going to throw it away. I’d like to conclude with this prayer the Angel taught the children in the Spring of 1916. This was not in your packages, I believe. If you’ll all say this together…

All: "My God I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee. I ask forgiveness for those who do not believe, nor adore, nor hope, nor love Thee."

Father Gruner: Let us also say the other prayer he taught.

All: "O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore You profoundly and I offer up to You the most precious Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the blasphemies, the outrages, and the indifferences by which He is offended. And I draw upon the infinite merits of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that you might convert poor sinners."

Father Gruner: And if you want someone in your family or your friends or neighbors to convert, you can say, "O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore You profoundly and I offer up to You the most precious Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the blasphemies, the outrages, and the indifferences by which He is offended. And I draw upon the infinite merits of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that you might convert poor sinners, including and especially so-and-so." Pray that way when you want to convert sinners and join that prayer with your Rosary and fasting.

I have people coming to me often telling me about sinners that they want converted. That’s a good prayer for their conversion, adding their name at the end, as well as praying the Rosary, especially the 54-Day Novena. You’ll find that in our Rosary booklet, The Fatima Crusader Issue #72. You’ll also find it in the booklet Our Lady’s Urgent Appeal.
